The unit I lived in the bedroom was connected to my neighbors entry door, so ever morning she would come in from work I would be awaken with a slammed door. This neighbor knew her advantage so whenever I would make noise (like putting laundry away in my drawers) she would get up and repeatedly open and slam her door. I strongly urge anyone that's considering this place to reconsider.

The units itself are all very interesting, unique, and historic. The problem is the tenants. This is a section 8 accepted housing and majority of the people that stay there are disabled (mostly mentally.) The building is filthy and only cleaned once every two weeks.

In the summer the entry area smells like funk. Because it's cooking all the odor and bacteria in the furniture that sits out there. In the winter homeless people sneak in the building late at night for shelter so when you come out in the morning it smells of what a homeless person would smell like, but mostly hot morning breath.

I love this place I will be here a year in may and this is somewhere were you meet the friendliest and most kind hearted people the manager is literally a sweetheart I love her I would recommend these lofts to anyone it's clean, safe, drama free an locked entry etc.
