I am from Omaha, Nebraska and I call Kansas City my 2nd hometown. Once a year usually, I always stop at Zona Rosa for some Abuelos. I love the fajitas here. The waitress with a middle eastern accent was able to understand what I ordered and I love the chips and all the salsa spices there was and able to give us another diet coke after i just got one. The food was brought out very quickly. Sometimes I run into people I know here from Omaha which did happen back in 2016.
Not gonna lie... I read the reviews and was a little leery about the restaurant. I ordered the cheese sauce, a lot of people said it was like Velveeta cheese. I really liked it. But, I didn't think it tasted like velveeta cheese, I like the liquid gold. Also, people saying the food wasn't good but the food we ordered was pretty amazing. It was large portions, I will have my left overs for lunch. I was very happy with our service. The lady had much knowledge of the food, super sweet, and she checked on us and made sure our drinks were always full. I will most definitely try this place again!!
Gross. Overly spicy and greasy food. The meat in my tamale was more of a meat paste rather than spreaded beef. Way too expensive for disgusting food.
First time here. I had the tilapia,shrimp,scallions,mixed veg,lime rice dish! Very well prepared! Had the option of small or big size. Chose the small size and it was just enough food! Definitely filling! Waitress was very attentive! Definitely will be back!
The ambience was wonderful. They food was good. The wait staff was very courteous and attentive. I recommend it for date nights
