They are great at communicating with each other; surgeons, anesthesiologist and physical therapist. After my surgery I was in a bad car accident and due to the accident my whole lower back and nerves were jacked up again and I am now back to square 1. I've told them about this accident after surgery (discectomy on L5-S1) multiple times and that my pain is about as bad as before just not as constant. Everytime I brought this up in the last 2 months I've been treated like this whole accident was made up or hasn't really caused any new pain, even after showing pictures of how mangled the front end of my car was (split a phone pole in half when it was icy) they still didn't get how bad a condition I was in. Now I'm going elsewhere for chronic pain treatment. I suppose being 22 years old means I can just get over it and move on with getting and decent job which will require physical work. My advice is to go here if you need surgery or any other spine issues worked out, they are very good at all that and work together to decide the best plan of action. Other than that this is not a center for people with Chronic Pain to get help, I suggest going else where for pain management.
Dr Khan and Zohra do an awesome job with really trying to listen and understand when things are so complex. They do what they can to try to make pain manageable and get as comfortable as possible. Only reason not 5 stars is unless first appointment of the day or right after lunch the wait could be very lengthy BUT will say his expertise is only reason I put up with the lengthy waits.
