I really enjoy Motel 6, and stay there almost exclusively, although I must say this particular one has quite a variety of personalities at the desk. The night clerk was amazing, upbeat, and effecient. I miss the carpet by the bed though
I know it is Motel 6, but even that, this is the worst I stayed on.
Well my first clue to staying here should have been the cop circling the parking lot the first night I arrived. Different cops back the next night wearing gloves and doing what appeared to Be a drug bust. When I arrived to the room the strong smell of room deodorizer was over powering and the air conditioner didn't cool the room even on high. The pet room that I had was very out dated except for the bathroom and the floor in the bedroom looked horrible. The finish was coming off and it was buckling and made the room look dirty. There were two adults that stayed in the room and I had called ahead for reservations for two adults and for a pet room. There were only enough towels for two people for one night. I had to go to the office the next morning and request more towels so the the two of us could take a shower as the ones from the night before were still wet. I was told that I had to bring my dirty towels down to the office or go find one of the house keepers and give them my dirty towels and get fresh ones from them. I truly feel that they should have placed enough towels in the room that would have covered the two nights for two adults that I had reserved and I should not have been expected to go searching the complex for a maid. THe bed cover looked discolored and stained. I wasn't sure the sheets were clean. I was told that the room had a queen size bed in it. I sleep on a queen bed regularly and There was no way this was a queen bed, which was miserable for two people to sleep on. There was also a man that yelled at me when I took my dogs out to go to the bathroom. At first he was speaking some language I didn't understand and then he let me know he did not like where my dogs were urinating. He never identified himself and there were no signs that designated specific areas for the pets to go. Which where I had taken my dogs was the exact spot that other people were taking their dogs to go to the bathroom. Overall this was the worst motel 6 I have ever stayed. I frequently stay at motel 6 as I travel with pets. I can honestly say I will never stay at this one again. EVER! I hope the other rooms are not as bad looking as the "pet room".
Budget, you get what you pay for. Staff appears to be knowledgeable. Pet and smoker friendly, on certain rooms. Management appears to please customers. Rates are appropriate for this level of service provided. Rooms are always clean and bug free.
The room was supposed to be a non smocking, but it had a super strong smell of cigarette. The shower floor had black marks on it. The faucet on the lavatory was loose. It was too noisy.
Overall the motel was comfortable for the quick overnight purpose of our trip. The worker at the front desk was pleasant and friendly, but the hotel did not have the correct rate for our stay and I had to show her the e-mail confirmation of the reservation to get the correct rate. The shower was a bit moldy and stained. There was not a hair dryer, which we have become accustomed to having in hotel rooms, but I did not actually check online to see if one would be included.
