We had a bad experience at another rehab facility, very bad! My mom ended up in ICU. This was the next place and I must say it is perfect! My mom has recovered quickly and they have put their time and attention into her and getting her better. I would recommend select to anyone looking for a rehab facility!!
The care from the staff is phenomenal. They do care about us as patients. Sheila, the house supervisor, stayed with me during a very scary episode. She wanted to be there and ensure I was assured all would be good! Cheryl RN has been great with all she has helped me with me. Boniface stayed late to help me out one evening and made me feel comfortable by talking to me - distracting me from what was going on. Learning the staff has been fun!
My mom had a positive experience here. Everyone was positive, friendly, and informative. The staff greeted me each time I came in and offered to get me anything I needed.
Nice facility and people. Sometimes contradictory communication from different staff members. Patient protocol should be standardized across care givers.
My daddy went to Select Specialty after an automobile accident. This is his success story: Very helpful and caring. They are interested in your health, very professional, well-trained staff. He came here to be weaned from ventilator after spending 20 days in ICU. They had him off of it very quickly. Also provided physical therapy that got him up walking. He is truly a success story!!
Staff members are easily available and frequently check on their patients.
