Candice is the most knowledgeable woman in the field you will ever meet. It's a pity, really. If she had gone into nuclear physics, maybe we'd have fusion energy by now. But she devoted her life to helping dumb customers in Armourdale.

The LA does not stand for Lower Armourdale. I think it's somebody's name. The sign on the west side of the building is amateurish, but it's a real hardware store, the type of which is disappearing from America's urbanscape.
