Was looking for a power tool that was on sale and out of stock at Home Depot. I came in and asked if they could price match the tool for me. Not only did they match the price, but they even gave me a little better version for the same price! Great selection and very friendly staff. Will definitely be shopping here instead of Home Depot from now on.
Strassers is flat out the best hardware store around. Has 2 floors of great stuff, and some very hard to find items that the big box stores don't carry. The plumbing and power tool dept are great, and I like that some commercial goods are available, which is covenient not having to visit a specialized contractor's store. Would be 5 stars if the staff was consistently helpful and considerate. Some staff will bend over backwards to help, while some will be non-caring. Overall though worth a visit, and very quick at checkout.
Strasser is a 100 year old family run hardware with personal service you probably won't get the best price compared to the box stores but the service is better
This is my favorite store. The price and products are great. Service from staff is fantastic and nowhere we get this type of service. I strongly recommend this hardware store. I live around 8 miles away, but this is my store for all my hardware requirements. You experience when you visit frequently.
