I have been a customer for over five years and I absolutely love this joint! The tamales are the best I have ever had, the owner is awesome along with his wife. Some times it takes a while for the food to get done but it well worth the wait. Also the Chicken Chimichanga is always delicious get it with the red and cheese sauce and your taste buds are in heaven!

I've always loved their food but when they changed locations several years ago I lost track of them. When I saw this place on Merriam Drive today I had to stop! I got fresh made tamales and refried beans. Those beans are the BEST beans I've ever had, including the ones I've eaten in Mexico. And the tamales were perfect too. It was so great to see the owners and amazingly they remembered me too from all those years ago. Now I can't wait to go again!
Some of the best authentic Mexican food in KC, pretty small and more of a take out joint but so worth it. One of our family favorites and my personal favorite for tamales and chili verde
Delicious food and friendly service. Cute indoor seating and nice outdoor picnic tables. The tamales are the absolute best I've ever had! Can't say enough good things about this place.
