My wife and I experienced a nightmare that Hertz KC Airport quickly turned around. Our itinerary was to fly back from our anniversary from Cancun to Atlanta then transfer to St. Louis (our home). Due to a 4 hour flight delay from Cancun to Atlanta (w/ Hurricane Irma affecting a lot of this), we missed our STL flight. Our best option was to catch the next flight to Kansas City, MO and get a rental to drive home. All of the other card rentals gave us a hard time with using our US Bank account debit cards. Andrew on the other hand helped us in this crisis and accepting our bank card!!! He was even awesome enough to give us a free upgrade!! When we returned the car to St. Louis at 5 am St. Louis tried to charge us 9.99/gallon for gas. Liz from KC quickly fixed that as well!!! All I can say is Liz and Andrew really know the meaning of customer service!!! I'm sure they get this all the time, but they gave us the best rental experience that we have ever experienced!!! If it wasn't for those 2, this would not have been a 5 star review!!! Great job Andrew and Liz!!! I rarely leave reviews, but I get compelled to give credit when it is due!!!
I love going straight to the Gold Club area, choosing my car and going on my way. We were treated so well by the folks when we picked up and when we dropped off as well. I always rent with Hertz!
Always very easy to get in and out when renting at Hertz in KC. The staff are very professional and friendly. I've never had a bad experience with any of the cars there. I won't rent from anyone else because when I have the cars were either dirty, smelled like cigarettes or weed and one even smelled like someone spilled gas inside the car.
The customer service was very good. And actually I left my bag in the car when returning the car. I went to the terminal and realized I forgot my bag. Took the shuttle back to the car rental side. They drove me around looking for the car that I returned. Found the bag so the Rep drove me straight back to the terminal to make it in time for my boarding time. Great customer service. Love you guys Hertz. jp
We were deceived by the price of the car seat rental. When we booked our reservation, we were not told the price of the seats. It ended up to be $14/day for low quality seats. We ended up paying more for the car seats than for the car. I rented a car seat with Alamo last month and paid $5/day for a car seat, which I felt was reasonable. I will not be renting with Hertz again.
