Fast, easy, good value. I especially like being able to go directly to the Emerald Aisle, pick out the car I want and go. Returning it is just as easy. If I'm in a hurry I can just leave. They'll check the car in and email me the receipt. No hassles, no waiting, All you have to do is open an Emerald account (no fee).
Got a decent car (Sonata) by just walking up and driving off (with a prior reservation). No hassle. Just had to stop at the airport exit; they scanned the barcode on the car and looked at my drivers license, and I was off. Very quick and easy. No complaints. When I last rented with Enterprise, and they actually walked with me out to my car and had to do all this paperwork (even though I belonged to their rewards program and had a reservation), and then still stopped me on the exit - the whole process took at least 15-20 minutes - it was excruciating. Why would anyone still run a business that way? National is the way to go. (For the record, Avis was similarly simple, but I like the "Emerald Isle" concept of National even better.)
Super easy way to rent a car. Get yourself the app and you can just go straight to pick the vehicle that suits you. Great selection, easy access in and out. Great location overall.
I use National for all of my business travel and have for at least the last 10 years. Normally they are excellent. You walk out, hop in your car, and go. This wasn't the case at the KC airport. National didn't have any cars and there was a line of approximately 30 people waiting for cars. Eventually I did get my car but it took 30 minutes. From speaking to the employees at National in KC this is very common and happens almost everyday. So if you rent from National at the KC airport be prepared to wait for your car.
They were awesome as usual! Clean car, love having the choices available and FANTASTIC employees. I only rent from National for these reasons! No reason to go anywhere else.
